Car Tippers

Industrial Bulk Material is often transported via rail car. "Car Tippers" (or railcar dumpers) are large mechanical devices used to safely tilt the railway cars and unload the bulk material.
Control systems are used in this application to monitor inputs like start & stop pushbuttons, DC drive feedback, dumper room temperature, entrance/exit side photocells, clamp commands, conveyor amps, temp/pressure of other equipment, etc., make programmed decisions, and then give outputs such as raise/lower clamps, activate tipper motor brake, turn on motor heater, start other equipment, turn on horns/fans/strobe lights, etc. Of course this is just a high level overview and details can get complex... that's where our sharp System Integrators come in.
