Lucas Comeaux
Chief Executive Officer


Lucas has over 28 years experience in the I&E / Automation industry, initially hands-on and then over 20 years in various management roles.  He began his career with API at an entry level position in 1995.  Two decades later, through an acquisition, he was able to work with managers and executives at a much larger company for a five year duration, gaining valuable experience in the SG&A areas of the business. 

 

He was then blessed with an ownership opportunity in the spring of 2019, and has been growing the business with a group of loyal, hard-working, dedicated team of professionals.

 

Lucas has a Master's degree in Business Administration from LSU Shreveport and a Mechanical Engineering degree from UL Lafayette.​  He is married with two sons and two daughters.  Lucas enjoys off-road dirt bike racing and many other outdoor activities with the family.

Kennon was born and raised in the South. He has a love for Acadiana culture and graduated from ULL in Business Management.

 

With 14 years of industry experience working collaboratively as a part of executive leadership teams, he is adept in leading the efforts of various programs to ensure fiscal responsibilities and goals are met.

 

Here are a few successes from his proven track record of driving financial growth and strategic decision-making:

Brandon Verret
Managing Member, Sales, and Special Projects

 

Brandon has over 20 years experience in the I&E / Automation industry.  He has hands-on control system manufacturing experience and has been in management roles for over a decade.  Prior to joining API in 2002, Brandon worked in the Gulf of Mexico for a major drilling contractor, and prior to that was in sales, inventory, and purchasing with a reputable oilfield supply store.

 

In addition to managing teams, Brandon has managed a wide range of projects including electrical panels, onshore metering skids, wellhead control systems, chemical injection and HPU skids, solar powered equipment, and more. 

 

He obtained a certification from Marine Mechanics Institute in Florida, and is married with two sons.  Brandon enjoys sport clay shooting, deer hunting, and teaching his kids about gun safety & technique.

Troy Boudreaux
Field Services Manager

 

Troy has over 32 years experience in the Instrumentation & Electrical industry.  He initially worked in the field on both onshore and offshore I&E construction projects throughout the US.  He gained valuable experience as an I&E Technician and Measurement Technician for both Shell and Enbridge.

Troy has been in management roles for over 16 years.  His teams have successfully completed various projects from electrical skids, motor control center upgrades, onshore wellsite facility upgrades, onshore pipeline facilities, offshore platform updgrades, and many more.

He is married with one son, and enjoys saltwater fishing, deer hunting, and spending time with friends and family.

Cody Romero
Manufacturing Manager - Instrumentation

 

Cody has over a decade of experience in the I&E / Automation industry.  He initially gained hands-on control system manufacturing experience in the shop while studying Mechanical Engineering at UL Lafayette.  Upon graduating in 2015 he was promoted to Project Engineer.  He has managed a multitude of projects such as WHCPs, HPU and Chemical/Methanol Injection Skids, Drilling Choke Consoles, Modular Well Control Panels, and more.

 

In addition to both design and project management success, Cody has revamped API’s QMS program, managing program certifications, and becoming ISO compliant.

Cody enjoys spending time as an avid off-road enthusiast and is the current President of the local TLCA Chapter, Bayou State Land Cruiser Association.  His favorite moto is a remix of an old saying, "Great Minds Travel the Same Trail".
